She was predeceased by: her parents, Eric Peterson and Mary "Granny" Peterson; her son Boyd Hammer; her children-in-law, Virgil Luken and Roxanne Hammer; and her siblings, Charles, Paul and Eleanor Westerman.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Hammer (Deanna), Greg Hammer (Connie), Ron Hammer, Steve Hammer (Lori) and Tania Hammer Luken; her sisters, Shirley Solberg and Sharon Rowan; and her grandchildren, Adam (Tanya), Melissa (Jon), Eric, Gregory II (Tracy), Matthew, Sean (Mackenzie), Rachael (Casey), Stephanie and Aaron (Jul). She is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
