He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Blume and Elizabeth "Betty" Blume (Newberger); his daughters, Christine and Colleen; his father-in-law Ralph (Margaret Wright); and his siblings, Ginny Summer, Kathy Bacon and Mike Blume.

He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Andrea Tilkes (Jeff) of Savage and Greg Blume (Heidi) of Herman; his grandchildren, Hunter (Sophie), Lauren, Natalie, Zander, Brielle, Mya and Ryder; and his siblings, Walt (Patt), Paul (Beth), David Blume and Pat Knight (Greg). He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews; and a large extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to St. Charles Catholic Church or the Herman Community Center.
