She was predeceased by : her parents, Ella Simpson (Brunkow) and John Charles; her husband Leonard Blume; her son Alan; her grandson Christopher Blume; her siblings, Joyce Hanson and Maurice Simpson; her siblings-in-law, Neil Hanson, Millicent Simpson and Barbara Simpson; and her grandparents, Ferdinand, Minnie Brunkow (Schuman), Roy and Elfrieda Simpson (Boeger).

She is survived by : her children, Neil Blume (Pat) of Herman, Dale Blume (Debbie) of Norcross, Lois Bartell (Terry) of Herman, John Blume (Annette) of Fergus Falls and Karl Blume (Paula) of Ottawa, Ontario; her grandchildren, Darin Blume (Karla), Michael Bartell (Audra), Dana Blume (Katy), Steven Blume (Amanda), Christa Howell (Chris), Dominic Blume (Charlene), Kevin Blume (Ronda), Bryan Blume (MacKenzie), Nancy Solberg (Brandon), Joshua Blume (Kelsie), Maria Blume, Hannah VahnDijk (Mikael), Luke Blume, John Blume and Lauren Blume; and her siblings, Lowell Simpson of Chokio and Cheryl Retrum (Bob) of Willmar. She is also survived by twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
