He was predeceased by: his parents, John Richards and Florence Richards (Nelson); and his siblings, Cecil, Howard, Destia, Marjorie, Marion, Phyllis, Mayva and Darlene.

He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Diane Olson (Dan) of Brandon, Greg Richards (Judy) of Herman and Scott of Gaylord; his grandchildren, Andrew Olson (Maria), Jocelyn DuPont (Luke), Nicole Olson (Andy), Elliot Richards (Stacy), Sam Richards (April) and Nathan Richards (Emma); his great grandchildren, Piper, Marley, Lila, Ryland, Maverick, Colt, Rhett, Griffin, Lucian and Rose; and his siblings, Dick and Joan Nelson (Ken). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Lakeside Cemetery or the memorial of your choice in memory of Robert.
