She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hanson and Mildred Hanson; her husband Raymond Rasmussen; and her sister Susan Gaber. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Rasmussen (Angela) of Anoka, MN, Debra Ukura (Bruce) of Two Harbors, MN and April Rasmussen (Robert) of Two Harbors, MN.; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Bettina, Matthew, Jessica, John Schwitters (Lisa), Raymond Schwitters (Alex), Sara Hammer (Ronald) and Emily McDowell (Alex); her siblings, Stephen Hansen (Carole), Sally Biernet (Rick) of Albany, OR and Kathy Stone of California; her siblings-in-law, Elaine Ellefsen, Betty, Jim Merling and Janet Rasmussen; and her close friend Tammy Olson.
Her battle with Alzheimer's disease was met with courage and resilience, and she left this world with the same strength that characterized her life.
