She was predeceased by : her parents, August Akkanen and Ellen Akkanen (Korvola); and her husband Jim Ragan. She is survived by : her daughters, Yvonne Venier of Cloquet and Cynthia Haugen (Jay) of Rochester. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
