He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Irene Heskin (McClaren); his parents, Nora Heskin (Aamold) and Harold Heskin; his stepmother Clara Heskin; and his daughter-in-law Irma Whitney.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Whitney, Terri Norris (Harry), Kristina Garfield (Patrick), Eric Heskin (Christine Glover), Leif Heskin (Bobbi) and Holly Dobson (Lee). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
