He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Melander and Robert James Melander. He is survived by: his sister Laura Melander; his family, Chip Eads (Nury), Daniella Eads, Logan Eads and Pamela Bunt (James); and his children, Chelsea and Jason Harder.
