He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Art" Hintsa and Alice E. Hintsa (Reponen); and his brother Marvin G. Hintsa. He is survived by: his children, Mary Lee A. Hintsa Brower of Duluth, MN, Mark L. Hintsa of Sarasota, FL and Kevin G. Hintsa of Martinez, CA. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
