He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Louis and Patricia Ann Hey (Irish); his daughter Micaila Hey; and his siblings, Francis, Frederick, George, Steven and Daniel.
He is survived by: his son Jakob Hey (Andrea); and his siblings, Barbara Jones (Timothy), John Hey (Barbara) and Gordon Hey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
