He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Wagner and Henry Wagner; his siblings, Raymond Wagner (Gertrude) of Hermantown, Wilmer "Bud" Wagner (Evelyn) of Hermantown and Arlene Conley (Pat) of Plano, Texas; and his son-in-law Dean of Duluth.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Joan Angell; his children, Cheryl Bloomquist (Dean) of Duluth, David (Shari) of Laurel, Bruce (Shelley) of Menomonie, Steven (Gloria) of Hermantown and Lorie Bauer (Doug) of Brighton, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Sarah Nickel (Jason) of Andover, Katie Lunke (Jeremy) of Rosemount, Karl Wagner (Danielle Rhoades) of Duluth and Hollie Nielsen (Anthony) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
