She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas B. and Mary A. Heffron (Enich). She is survived by: her children, Thomas Lahti (Marrianne) of Biwabik, MN, Lorri Merecka (Greg) of The Woodlands, TX and Nikki Vandervort (Cory) of Angora, MN; her sisters, Kathy Roddy of Hibbing and MaryLou McKay of Superior, WI; and her grandchildren, McKenna Merecka, Mathison Merecka and Brystin Vitense.
In lieu of cut flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, or live plants are preferred.
