He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Brouwer and Gertrude Brouwer (Baar); his grandsons, Wyatt and Liam Mathers; and his sister Joyce Fick.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Brouwer of Steen, Minnesota; his daughter Misty Kolbrek of Steen, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Mekayla Halverson, Lexxus Wessels, Ryker Mathers and Walker Mathers; his great grandchildren, Charley and Berkley Kuemper; his siblings, Dean Brouwer (Carol) of Lennox, Evelyn Smith (Gary) of Paynesville, Rob Brouwer (Cherlyn) of Hills, Sylvia Kontz (Dale) of Woodstock and Russ Brouwer of Steen, Minnesota; and his brother-in-law Vernon Fick of Luverne, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
