We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2025, at the age of 94, Arden Harold John Gruett of Hinckley, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Gruett and Emma Gruett (Schlafle); his wife Lois Roscoe; his siblings, Ethel Bjerke (Ed), Ellen Wicklund (Clarence), Mae Pulkrabek (Duane), Loretta Kendall (Arley), Leo (Dorothy), Arnie (Elvira), Glenn (Cindy) and Alvin (Merle); his in-laws, Hazel and Karl Roscoe; his siblings-in-law, Harvey Roscoe (Dorothy) and Jessie Darsow (Edwin); his nephew Kenneth Darsow; his great-nephew Kevin; his great-niece Krista; his nephews, Scott Kendall, Greg Irons and Jeff Gruett; his great-niece Christa; his son Jason; and his niece Toni Gruett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynette Dorfner (Matt) of Blue Earth, MN, Joan Bloemendaal-Gruett (David) of Hinckley, MN and Jean Lamusga (Jeff) of Sauk Centre; his brother Myron (Darlene) of Sycamore; his grandchildren, Aaron Dorfner (Megan), Sarah Nolan (Travis), Janae Taylor, Jaclyn Hoke, Bethany Campos (Marcel), Taylor Bloemendaal (Holly), Jayme Hansen (Phil), Micah Dorfner (Sara), Nick Lamusga and Gwen Lamusga; and his great grandchildren, Gavin Dorfner, Reese Dorfner, Robbie Hoke, Daniel Hoke, Landon Taylor, Beckett Nolan, Carter Nolan, Charlestyn Nolan, Ayden Bloemendaal, Easton Nolan, Eli Bloemendaal, Lucianna Campos, Zeke Bloemendaal, Vera Hanson, Otis Hanson, Avery Dorfner, Evie Bloemendaal, Isla Campos, Leonardo Campos and Blaire Dorfner.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, St. Croix Hospice North Branch, Hinckley VFW, or Hinckley Legion.
