He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hampeys and Hazel Hampeys (Schumacker); his spouse Vi Hickle (Wooster); his siblings, Raymond, Helen, Martha, Julia, Edna and Johnney; and his stepdaughter Joan.
He is survived by: his siblings, George (Kathy), Barb, Bob (Linda), Grace, Linda, Dennis, Beverly (Jesse), Ellen and Diane; his stepdaughters, Mary Logan and Janice Vaughn; his daughter Debra Rassbach; and his friends, Lila Loomis and Lanna Nolan. He is also survived by many step grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (203 Lawler Ave S, Hinckley, MN 55037). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
