He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Gripp and Erma Gripp (Gustafson); his daughter Melanie Ann Gripp; his sister Janet Anderson; his brothers-in-law, Ronald Hanson, Doug Smith and Anderson; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Jacquelyn Hanson.
He is survived by: his wife Kandee Gripp of Hines Township; his son Scott Gripp (Renae) of Eveleth, MN; his granddaughters, Elizabeth and Maggie Gripp of Eveleth, MN; his siblings, Donna Jean Larson (Jerry) of Hines, MN, Judith Smith of Deer River, MN and Jerry Gripp of Tenstrike, MN; and his sister-in-law Nancy Hanson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
