She was predeceased by: her parents, George Schaffran and Gesena Schaffran (Schmiesing); her husband Percy Christensen; and her siblings, Lester Schaffran, Dennis Schaffran and Joanne Valentin (Jim).
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Dosdall (Daryl) of Hancock, MN, Steven Christensen (Rayetta) of Emerado, ND, Karyn Groenewold (Kevin) of Balaton, MN and Laurie Christensen of Detroit Lakes, MN; her grandchildren, Tyler Christensen of Fargo, ND, Charles Christensen of Grand Forks, ND, Brandon Groenewold of Owatonna, MN and Brianna Groenewold of Mankato, MN; her godchildren, Barry Georgius, Terry Lecy and Kim Schaffran; and her sister-in-law Gail Schaffran. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to WELCA of Messiah Lutheran Church in Hoffman, MN.
