Karen Magnus Obituary
The memory of Karen Magnus of Hoffman, Minnesota, who passed away on October 22, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Holger Wass and Margaret Wass (Johnson); her daughter Cheryl Lynn Magnus; and her brother Byron Wass. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Magnus; her daughters, Carolyn Neubauer (Bruce) of Sauk Rapids and Cindy Friedmann of Sauk Rapids; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Jesse Reinert), Amanda, Michael Neubauer (Katie Gunderson), Kari Friedmann (Loren Jones) and Jenny Stellmach (Sam); her great grandchildren, Brayden, Ellie and Jackson Reinert; her siblings-in-law, Richard Magnus (Kathy) and Judie Wass; and her nieces and nephews, Kristin, Kevin, Erica and Cory. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
In honor of Karen's lifelong dedication to helping others, in lieu of flowers, Karen's family encourages friends to honor her memory by supporting a cause where they volunteered alongside her, one that holds special meaning to them or they may be directed to Glenwood Lutheran Church Music Ministry or the Hearts and Hands Food Shelf.
