It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerome Leo Young of Holdingford, Minnesota, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Young and Theresa Young (Lange); his siblings, LeRoy Young and Jeanette Young; his daughter Janice Pauly; and his great grandchild Norah Pauly.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene; and his children, Theresa Beutz (Mark), Kenneth Young (Sandra), Kevin Young (Beth), Avon, Joan Neu (Peter), Marlene Panek (Jeff) and Judy Opatz (Joey). He is also survived by his wife of 62 years, 7 amazing children, and many grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home (631 Main St, Holdingford, MN 56340). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Church of All Saints – St. Mary (311 River St, Holdingford, MN 56340). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at 39541 165th Ave, Avon, MN 56310.
