He is survived by: his former wife Jeanne Kerber; his children, Rhonda Eckhart (Dan) of Big Lake, Kenneth Steenstra (Julie) of Hadley, Keith Steenstra (Jean) of Holland, Harlan Steenstra (Cindy) of Loretto and Rolly Steenstra (Lindy DeGroot) of Holland; his partner Lonna Kienholz "Raven" of Pipestone; his sister Agnes Meyer of Sioux Falls; and his sister-in-law Mary Steenstra of Holland.
