With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barry Krelitz (Hopkins, Minnesota), born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on February 22, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Barry farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Barry is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Annetta; and his grandchildren, Lillian (Kieran), Mosey, Sydney and Spencer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cecil A. Krelitz Memorial Fund at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota or to the Twin City Model Railroad Museum, honoring Barry's lifelong dedication to education and the hobby he loved so dearly.
