She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Thomas and Emma Thomas (Elfman); her husband Ray Roust; her siblings, Ellis Sr. (Margaret), Dorothy Burtt (Harry), Elizabeth Hendricks (Bill), James (Evelyn), Frederick Jr. (Esther), Donald (Mavis), Margaret "Peggy" Weaver (Delmar "Bud"), Robert (Janice) and Richard "Bud"; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy, Marilyn, Lorraine Mauritz (Creigton) and Marlys Werdick.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas (Susan), Gerald (Joyce), Lori and JoAnn Stapfer (Richard); her grandchildren, Kevin, Colin (Amy), Kristin Norberg (Scott), Annette Ziegler (Mark), Amy Mott (Todd), Erika White (Justin), Lukas (Hillary), Henry O'Keefe, Andrew O'Keefe (Mea) and James Stapfer; her great grandchildren, Kirsten, Erik, Griffin, Eli, Autumn, Lou, Bennett, Wesley, Everly and Olivia; and her sister-in-law Helen Thomas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Mount Olivet Lutheran Church or Good Samaritan Society - Long Term Care.
