It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H. Gelo of Hopkins, Minnesota, born in River Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harvey Gelo and Carol Gelo (Anderson); and his cousin Larry Gelo. He is survived by : his cousins, Sandy Gieseke, Gordy Gieseke, Lana Flynn, Susan Bass, Dan Morrow, Tom Morrow, Cheryl Morrow, Roxanne Shaide, Roger Shaide, Leslie Robey, Lynn Gelo, Loreen Ryder, Sharon (Gelo) and Sheryl Planque.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home (225 S 3rd St, River Falls, WI 54022). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the O'Connell Funeral Home-River Falls (225 S 3rd St, River Falls, WI 54022).
