We announce the death of Robert Leo Kilian in Hopkins, Minnesota, who passed away on July 27, 2026, at the age of 93. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kilian and Ida Kilian; his wife Dorothy; his siblings, Gerald (Marie), Gladys (Joe), Alcuin (Mary) and Bernice (Melvin); his siblings-in-law, Dave Volkmuth and Diane Kilian; and his grandson Nicholas Weber.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Kim) of Mequon, WI, Joan Kilian-Ikeler (Alan Ikeler) of Spring Green, WI, Mark Kilian (Lisa Norbury) of Clive, IA and Judith Kilian of Robbinsdale; his grandchildren, Abby Millman (Garrett) of Aurora, IL, Chloe Salvino (Brendan) of Brookfield, WI, Elizabeth Ikeler (Ben Cranny) of Des Moines, IA, Elliot Ikeler St (Kristen Simon), Kristopher Ikeler (Monica Delgado) of Ham Lake, MN, Matthew Kilian of Littleton, CO, Juilia Kilian of Des Moines, IA and Natalie Weber of Minneapolis; his great grandchildren, Ross, Luke Millman, Keegan Cranny and Bennett Salvino; and his siblings, John Kilian, Mary Cooper and Charolotte Volkmuth. He is also survived by 47 nieces and nephews, and many friends and neighbors.
