We bid farewell to James Erickson (Houston, Minnesota), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 16, 2026 at the age of 81. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Erickson (Moan) and James Erickson Sr.; and his siblings, Edward Erickson, Allen Erickson and Sandra Walsh.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Ann Olson; his children, Lynnette Mundt (Harvey), Shelley Evanson (Dan) and Jamey Erickson (Lisa); his grandchildren, Paige Mundt, Travette Mundt, Forest Evanson (Lupita), Max Evanson, Adalyn Erickson and Corbin Erickson; his siblings, Richard Erickson, Michael Erickson, Marlene Branson and Clarissa Erickson; and his siblings-in-law, Dave Walsh and Judy Erickson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Rushford Post 94 American Legion.
