We bid farewell to Richard J. Heesch of Houston, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 25, 2025 at the age of 85. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Heesch and Gertrude Heesch (Millard); his wife Gwendolyn Halverson; his brothers, Bob Heesch and Tom Heesch (Cathy); and his sister-in-law Paula Heesch.
He is survived by: his children, Ryan Heesch (Annalee) and Amber Kildahl (Chris); his grandchildren, Easton, Savannah, Emmalyn and Matthew; and his siblings, Grace Garrison (Rod) and Jack Heesch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to Frontenac State Park, The Parks and Trails Council of Minnesota, or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
