We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Jerome Kurpius of Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. In the vast expanse of eternity, Jerome shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jerome farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kurpius and Frances Kurpius (Puhalla); his wife Doris Kurpius; his stepfather Kermit Meinecke; and his siblings, Lawrence Kurpius and LaVerne Hunsaker.
He is survived by: his children, Craig Kurpius (Karmen) of Red Wing and Shelley Boutain of Otsego; his grandsons, Daniel Boutain (Jennifer) and Troy Boutain (Erika); his great grandchildren, Joseph Boutain and Raymond Boutain; and his sister Barbara Rehder (Jim). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hoyt Lakes VFW Post.
