He is survived by: his wife Sally Harnell; his children, Michael Ford of Akeley, MN, Marie Ford Yapel of Hoyt Lakes and Darlene Dunbar (Kevin) of Cotton, MN; his grandchildren, Heidi Williams (Sam) of Los Gatos, CA, Malory Frankovich (Duncan) of Duluth, Hannah McLaughlin (Will) of Cloquet, Hayden Dunbar of Duluth, Sam Yapel of St. Paul and Lilly Dunbar; his great grandchild Wade Kallberg of Duluth; and his siblings, Tad Ford (Marlene) of Duluth and Elaine Ankarlo of Superior, WI. He is also survived by many nieces nephews and friends.
