She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Betker and Atheline Betker (Bonde); her husband Martin Briggs; her siblings, Gloria McKimm (Donald), Roger Betker and Sandra Waldron; and her sister-in-law Barbara Betker.

She is survived by: her children, Kristin Briggs and Paul Briggs (Tania) of Lino Lakes, MN; her grandchildren, Brita Kaczmarek, Haley Briggs, Keira Briggs and Andrew Briggs; her great grandchildren, Ty, Vinnie and Jaden; her siblings, Gordon Betker of Hutchinson, MN and Nancy Mackedanz (LeRoy) of Hutchinson, MN; and her siblings-in-law, Clara Betker of Hutchinson, MN and Jim Waldron (Many) of Hutchinson, MN. She is also survived by Many other relatives and friends.
