He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Reading and Opal Reading; and his siblings, Jimmy Reading, Billy Davidson, June Busse, Francis Jones and Kay Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Reading of Hutchinson, MN; his sons, Charles Dean Reading (Cheresa) of Hutchinson, MN, Daniel Rath (Lloyd Carnegie) of Maplewood, NJ and Michael Reading (Jolyn) of Waconia, MN; his grandchildren, Charles Gregory Reading, Jay Reading (Shauna), Brooklyn Reading and Colby Reading; his great grandchild Emmett Reading; his sister Patti Carrasco (Saul) of Corrals, NM; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Brelje of Hutchinson, MN, Kathy Ehlers, Donna Marschel (Dave) of Annandale, MN and Richard Rath (Rheba) of Stockton, MO. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
