He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth Charles Smith; his parents, Donald Smith and Esther Smith; and his brother Paul Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Smith of Hutchinson; his children, Steven Smith (Debbie) of Darwin, Kimberly Jones (Dennis) of Litchfield and Stacey Overson (Joshua) of Grove City; his grandchildren, Jackie Bengson (Brad), Stephanie Cox (Brandon), Ashley Covell (Dave), Andrew Smith (Amy), Sarah Zemek (Kris), Emalee Smith, Tony Smith (Kate), Mason Overson and Cooper Overson; and his sister Betty Ruskamp (Leslie) of Hutchinson. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
