He was predeceased by : his parents, Harvey Getz and Dorothy Getz (Goede); his stepson Cody Setter; and his parents-in-law, Thomas and Alice Friauf.

He is survived by : his wife Holly Setter of Hutchinson, MN; his children, Paul Getz (Ambree) of Mankato, MN and Casie Getz (John DeMeyer) of Silver Lake, MN; his stepchildren, Colton Setter (Ashley) of Litchfield, MN and Courtney Setter of Hutchinson, MN; his grandchildren, Carter, Mason, Haylee, Quintin, Hayden, Sophia, Adelynn, Holdyn, Franklin, Izzy and Cooper; and his siblings, Deborah Kahle (Melissa Peterson) of Hutchinson, MN, Darla Harrier (Rick) of Hutchinson, MN, Deedra Vejrosta (Terry) of Silver Lake, MN and David Getz (Julie) of Cokato, MN. He is also survived by Many nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
