He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Maye Branson (Eakins) and William Branson; his wife Crystal Branson; and his siblings, Bobbi Nary, Wanda Cooney and Garland Branson.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Branson (Ann) of Indianapolis, IN, Kathy Gorgie (Steve) of Indianapolis, IN, Shari Hughes (Tom) of Indianapolis, IN, Bruce Remus of Hutchinson, MN and Peggy Hewett (Paul Hacker) of Stewart, MN; his grandchildren, Adam Gorgie (Marian), Karysa Diaz (Eric), Jessica Roach (Thomas), Sam Branson, Jim Schrader (Kylie), Jessica Ibrahim (Dan), Cori Hewett, Kylie Hewett and Amber Remus (Don); and his great grandchildren, Hayden, Connor, Remi Gorgie, Sophie, Declan Roach, Rynn Diaz, Braxton Hewett, William, Bradly Schrader, Indie, Dansby Ibrahim, Selena and Violet Remus. He is also survived by Many other relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (335 Main St S, Hutchinson, MN 55350). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
