John F. Schugel Obituary

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his nephew Robbie Schanus; and his parents, Ohmar Schugel and Delphine Schugel (Wolf). He is survived by: his daughter Sadi Hunstad (Jed); his siblings, Mary Ellen Schanus (Paul), Colleen Firchau (Lee), Jim Schugel (Laurie) and Bob Schugel; and his grandchildren, Marius, Maxwell, Maddox and Sophia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Ulm South Chapel (600 S Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
