He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Griep and Gertrude Griep (McCarthy); his son Larry Griep; his brothers, Roy "Bud" Griep and Myron Griep; his sister-in-law Lorraine Olson; his niece Susan Griep; his nephew Terrance Griep; and his parents-in-law, Alfonse and Gertrude Krebsbach (Krippner).
He is survived by: his significant other Bernadette "Bernie" Griep; his children, Steve Griep (Maddy), Patty Braaten, Dave Griep (Melanie), Dan Griep (Denise) and Jay Griep (Desta); his daughter-in-law Mary Griep; his grandchildren, Melissa Sharapova, Michelle Shadle (Paul), Megan Karg (Josh), Alicia Wendlandt, Jill Griep, Jenny Griep (Pip Freeman), Erik Griep (Justine), Lauren Griep, Ellison Griep (Liles Repp), Jack Griep (Laura), Mary Griep, Sella Griep and Gracie Griep; his great grandchildren, Ruslan Sharapov, Ulrik Sharapov, Marina Sharapova, Hannah Karg, Kellen Karg, Alina Griep, Madelyn Griep, Lucille Griep, Carter Giesler, Isiah Susag, Benson Susag, Isabella Susag and Charlotte Sullivan; and his sister-in-law Judy Krebsbach. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, Other Relatives.
