He is survived by: his parents, Gerald Sawyer and Judith Sawyer (Bock) of Pahrump, NV; his daughters, Monica Sawyer of Las Vegas, NV, Elizabeth Webb (Braden) of Fargo, ND and Chloe Newton (Daniel) of Brainerd, MN; and his siblings, Anthony Sawyer (Val) of Las Vegas, NV, Jill Harris (David) of Pahrump, NV, Patrick Sawyer (Melanie) of Shakopee, MN, Sarah John of Burlington, KS, Mindy Preusser (Derek) of Gilbert, AZ and Vincent Sawyer of New Prague, MN. He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren, Many other relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anastasia Catholic Church (460 Lake St SW, Hutchinson, MN 55350). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
