He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Tewes and Amanda Tewes (Prieve); and his siblings, Arthur, Walter, Edwin, Fritz, Roy, Willard, Henry, John, Ella, Verna, Dorothy and Elsie.

He is survived by : his sisters-in-law, Arlene Tewes, Harriet Tewes and Many. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
