With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marie P. May of Hutchinson, Minnesota, born in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Gilbert Hammer and Neawana Hammer (Helmbrecht); her brother-in-law Robert Callier; and her aunt Jeri Helmbrecht-Wichman. She is survived by : her husband David May of Hutchinson, MN; her sons, Edmund May of Hutchinson, MN, Jacob May (Christy) of Saint Michael, MN and Aaron May (Heather) of Waunakee, WI; her grandchildren, Alec May, Conner May, Harrison May, Matthew May, Loyola May and William May; her sisters, Jill Lovald of Fairhaven, MN and Sara Smutka (Jack) of Englewood, CO; and her siblings-in-law, Ted May of Delano, MN, Harry May (Patty) of Big Lake, MN, Patrick May (Joy) of Hutchinson, MN and June Callier of Rochester, MN. She is also survived by Many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anastasia Catholic Church (460 Lake St SW, Hutchinson, MN 55350).
