He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelaide Elizabeth Briggs (McDonald) and Fred Briggs; his siblings, Francis Briggs (Pat), Leonard Briggs (Joyce), Margaret Bjork (Donald) and Kenneth Briggs; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria McKimm (Donald), Barbara Betker, Sandra Waldron and Roger Betker.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Briggs of Hutchinson, MN; his children, Kristin Briggs of New Brighton, MN and Paul Briggs (Tania) of Lino Lakes, MN; his grandchildren, Brita Wigen, Haley Briggs, Keira Briggs and Andrew Briggs; his great grandchildren, Ty, Vinnie and Jaden; and his siblings-in-law, Gordon Betker of Hutchinson, MN, Jim Waldron of Hutchinson, MN, Nancy Mackedanz (LeRoy) of Hutchinson, MN, Clara Betker of Hutchinson, MN, Sherrie Bjork of Dassel, MN and Many. He is also survived by Many loving Nieces and Nephews and many other relatives and friends.
