He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peters and Erna Peters (Block); his siblings, Roy, Earl Peters and Amy Kraemer; and his grandchildren, Rhett Peters, Jonathan Malone and Mamie Malone.

He is survived by: his wife Meryl; and his children, Randy Peters (Jessie) of Hutchinson, Colleen Sickmann (Mark) of Big Lake, Tamara Malone of Willmar, Jeffrey Peters (Darcie) of Hudson, WI and Daniel Peters (Rhonda) of Sartell. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren; many relatives and friends.
