He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cafferty and Irene Cafferty (Romanski) of Hale Township, Winsted.; his grandmother Peggy Romanski (Smykalski); his brother Russell Cafferty; his grandparents-in-law, John and Anastasia Kuras; and his parents-in-law, Fred and Lottie Urban.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Urban of Winsted; his daughters, Melanie Hale (Tim), Alicia Hendry (William) and Rachelle Eugene (Chris); and his grandchildren, Rachel Corbin (Britton), Mitchell Hale, Maci Hendry, Caden Hendry, Kaitlyn Eugene and Evan Eugene.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anastasia Catholic Church (460 Lake St SW, Hutchinson, MN 55350). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
