He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Walkoviak and Helen Walkoviak; his wife Michelle Flesland Walkoviak; his stepmother Stella; his brothers, James and Leonard; his great grandchild Beau; and his nephews, Alfred Hanson, Eric Hanson and Anthony Walkoviak.

He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn Clark of International Falls and Stacey Forsythe (Cameron) of East Bethel, MN; his grandchildren, Travis Netland (Megan), Brittany Spry (Rodney), Stephanie Hanson (Dakota), Brody Krzoska, Jordan Walkoviak (Kali), Evan Walkoviak (Tara), Jesse Forsythe, Ava Forsythe and Addyson Forsythe; his sister Susan Walkoviak of Duluth; and his great grandchildren, Avery, Jaydan, Anastyn, Evelyn, Olivia, Hunter, Kymber, Scottie, Tylson, Preslee and Kai. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and a soon-to-be great-granddaughter.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (415 9th Ave, International Falls, MN 56649).
