It is with great sadness that we announce the death of DuWayne Robert Olson of International Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Ferdinand Olson and Pearl Jeanette Smith Olson; his wife Jacqueline Frances Veeder (Jackie); and his brother Dennis Olson. He is survived by: his children, Ann Nelsen (Randall) of Minnetonka, Cory Olson (Lucinda) of International Falls, Jennifer Byma (Randall) of Marquette, MI, Jessica Kokesh (Brad) of International Falls, Willie Olson of Williston, ND and Wesley Olson (Kayleen) of Gill, CO.; his grandchildren, Ryan, Grace Nelsen of Minnetonka, Skylee, Livia, Harlee Olson of International Falls, Caleb, Hayden Byma of Marquette, Neva, Keller Kokesh of International Falls, Connor, Charley, Rori and Ryder Olson of Gill; and his great grandchild Asher Kenny of International Falls. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (530 6th St, International Falls, MN 56649). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
