It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo David Dugas (International Falls, Minnesota), who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Dugas and Irene Peterson; his stepfather Leonard Peterson; his sister Janice Lehn (Randy); his grandson Alex Dugas Gushulak; and his niece Angela Dugas Owen.
He is survived by: his wife Anita; his siblings, Randy Dugas (Kay) and Julie Cochrane (Layne); his children, David Dugas (Kim), Diane Forberg (Matt), Larry Dugas (Becky) and Kathryn Erickson (Todd); his grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, Austin, Caleb (Anna), Grace (Patrick), Aidan, Maleah, Clara, David, Fernando, Kale and Victoria; and his great grandchildren, Cayden and Leo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family requests donations be made to a local animal shelter in Leo's memory, reflecting his love for animals and his commitment to helping those in need.
