She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Milender and Lucille Milender; her husband Gerald Rooker; her son-in-law Charles Hoppe Sr.; and her brothers, Gene Dion and Daniel Milender.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Hoppe of International Falls, Clinton Rooker (Christine) of Fort Frances and Mindy Wilson (Lenny) of International Falls; her grandchildren, Angela, Charlie, Caytlin, Carley, Hunter and Allison; her great grandchild Savanna; her siblings, Melvin (Mary Lou) of Bemidji, MN, Barbara Jines of Ellsworth, WI, Sharon Westmiller (Milender) of Florida, Doris (Bill) of Blaine, MN, Sheila Hakl of International Falls, Fred Milender of Virginia, MN, Marilyn Hakl (Bob) of South Dakota and Joseph Dion (Jill) of North Dakota; and her close friend Ricki Johnson. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Peter Graham VFW Post 2948 (1416 3rd Ave, International Falls, MN 56649).
