We bid farewell to Thomas Ralph Barthell (International Falls, Minnesota), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 20, 2025 at the age of 97. Thomas touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Barthell and Martha Boeckh Barthell; his children-in-law, Bruce Kelly and Patsy Barthell; and his brother-in-law James Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; his sister Dorothy Hughes; his children, Linda Orsted (Mike), Peggy Kelly, Fred Barthell and Ann Sigsby (Rick); his grandchildren, Jennifer Barthell, Jon Barthell (Jennifer), Liz O'Donnell (Barry) and Ingrid Orsted; and his great grandchildren, Harlow Barthell and Emma O'Donnell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Faith United Church of Christ (1001 5th St, International Falls, MN 56649).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Faith United Church of Christ, Backus Community Center or Habitat for Humanity are appreciated.
