He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Wichner and Elsie M. Salmi Wichner (Salmi); his brother Gerald Wichner; and his grandparents, Isaac and Caroline "Hilma" Salmi.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara S. Wichner; his children, Lori Udovich (Tony) and Tim Wichner (Gena); his grandchildren, Natalie (Mat), Andrea (Aaron), Olivia, Tevin (Megan), Ethan and Mason; his great grandchildren, Jaxson, Ari and Elliana; his brothers, Kenneth Wichner (Judy) and Donald Wichner (Cheryl); and his sisters-in-law, Susan Nickelson (Maynard) and Debbie Dunn. He is also survived by nephews and nieces, cousins, and friends.
The family thanks the dedicated staff at Good Samaritan and Mission Nursing Home who cared for him, who looked past Alzheimer's disease and showed him patience, dignity, and love-with his long battle, you reflected the heart of Christ.
