With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Everett Hietamaki (Iron, Minnesota), who passed away on December 9, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Everett may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Waino Matthew Hietamaki and Aini Marie Pulkkinen; his significant other Doris DeMars; his stepfather Eino Sikkila; and his cousin John Pulkkinen.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Faith United Lutheran Church (8964 MN-37, Iron Junction, MN 55751). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to Faith United Lutheran Church or a Humane Society of your choice.
