She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Oker and Marjorie Oker (Marose); her husband Gilbert C. Peterson; her siblings, Debbie Lindberg, David Oker and Dennis Oker; and her sister-in-law Becky Oker.

She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Peterson; her brother Larry Oker; her brother-in-law John Lindberg; and her sibling's children, Wendy Lindberg, John Lindberg, Jr. (Joey) and Chad Lindberg (Deanna Roepke). She is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
