In the vast expanse of eternity, Gwen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gwen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Martie and Geraldine Martie (Mashek); her husband Nick Heffner; her daughter Catherine Montague; and her brother Jack Martie.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Heffner (Nancy), Wendy Wilson (Chuck) and John Heffner (Michele). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great‑grandchildren; and one great‑great‑granddaughter; along with many other relatives and friends.
